Motorola V3 Peace

In 2006 we produced a series of "blinged" mobile phones for Otto Versand. We honed models by Motorola, Nokia and Samsung. Motorola’s V3 we refined with partly decorations on the back (Gecco-Design) as well as total-polishing. Of these we would like to highlight the series "V3 Peace"- a camouflage-design with an especially exclusive eye-catcher: the peace-symbol consisting of Crystal Aurum stones. These crystals are entirely coated with 24 carat gold. We additionally designed silver and pink editions.

The Nokia and Samsung phones were partially embellished in Siam and Black Diamond, thus creating exceptional design objects. Altogether about 500 refined mobile phones were sold.

Eidos

Also in 2006 we provided Eidos with the opportunity to receive world-wide media attention by creating the world’s first entirely crystallised X-Box 360. We covered the X-Box in 45.000 crystals, mainly using the smallest size SS 5 (1, 8 mm/0, 07"), thus creating an extremely detailed image of the action-figure Lara Croft from the Tomb-Raider series. Pictures of the gaming console appeared in countless articles (print and online media) featuring the long awaited release of "Tomb Raider Legend". The piece is valued at 9000 € and was voted as the no. 1–Tomb Raider-collector’s item by "Maniac"-magazine!

As a particular fascinating clue was the use of 20 different colours altogether, among them the AB-crystal type "Crystal Volcano" that changes colour from varying perspectives and ornaments the artwork’s sky.

Perfect Dark Zero

It was definitely a conspicuous campaign that did not fail to attract excessive attention towards the release of this game classic. Eidos later made use of the immense potential of blinged items once more, by employing it for the promotion of the "Perfect Dark Zero" release. Again we decorated the front of an X-Box 360 with the game’s heroine, in this case Ashley Cheryl, while highlighting the game’s title on the back.

Nintendo DS Lite Pink

When the DS Lite was launched we blinged several items for Nintendo. Among them were special versions referring to particular games featured by the portable gaming console. We designed elaborate illustrations of "Animal Crossing", "Super Mario" and "Nintendogs". One Nintendo DS Lite we embellished with the "Hermitage" design, a refinement of over 1200 pink and crystalline stones that reached a market prize of 360 €. Of course, each of the designed products was displayed in German and European media.

Abenteuer auf dem Reiterhof

Ubisoft software engineers entrusted us with the DS Lite styling of their game "Abenteuer auf dem Reiterhof". We mainly used stones in a shade of rose, thus underlying the girlish theme. On this frisky background we depicted horses in realistic colours. Furthermore, we designed a few game-pads for this creative corporation.

Paris Hilton RICH Prosecco

Paris Hilton promotes "RICH Prosecco". The market launch of the beverage in a gold can required the branding of both label and product. It goes without saying that Bling My Thing had just the right solution for this sparklingly glamorous product. We ennobled two cans entirely with golden Swarovski-Crystals in size SS 9, and then decorated them with the logo in black and red SS 5. Several cans were partially refined. The exclusive Prosecco vessel covered in over 4000 crystals, as well as a matching mobile phone were both presented by Paris Hilton at the 2006 Oktoberfest. As a result, countless pictures and reports appeared in TV and magazines. This campaign owns its magnificent success to the congenial branding of lifestyle and image. Promoter, image and product represented a homologous entity.

Bosch

As our recent campaign for Bosch showed, there’s no limitation to the art of blinging. In November 2006 we developed a limited edition of miniature IXO screwdrivers. These "Diamond-IXOs" were valued at 300 € and were raffled off at a DIY superstore’s contest. We used, according to the individual model, the crystal colours Emerald, Light Siam and Black Diamond. This campaign was crowned by success and aroused a lot of attention among experts. This resulted in the second blinging of screwdrivers in 2007. Our "Ice"-design in Crystal, Sapphire and Light Sapphire let impressive screwdrivers like SKILL shine in a whole new splendour.

HYLA

In 2007 we also did several jobs for HYLA, leading manufacturer of purification systems and humidifiers. We garnished vacuum cleaners with up to 38.000 Swarovski crystals in Light Colorado Topaz and two air dampers by the product line WAF. For the latter we developed two breathtaking designs made up of over 20.000 crystals: the "Heaven" version was assembled with shimmer-effect stones from rosé to pink, while "Galaxy" was beautified through our popular design Hermitage, using the extravagant colours Black and Crystal.

HYLA


At this time the upgrading of frequently used domestic appliances was an absolute novelty on the market. Most manufactures refrain from it because the fast abrasion of these products seems to stand in contrast to the effort of refining. This aspect though was exactly HYLA’s motivation for launching this new approach. What could possibly indicate the longevity and quality of a product better, than the creation of a scintillating up-market version of it? With our help, HYLA was able to advance their image and optimise their products’ marketing. By exhibiting these objects at selected events, e.g. a charity tombola at the UNESCO gala 2007, the blinged devices were sure of media attention as well as the keen interest of celebrities.

Spiderman 3 T-shirt

In an equally distinctive celebrity spotlight were our specially designed shirts promoting the film start of Spiderman III in April 2007. SevenOne Media AG instructed us with the making of these exceptional articles. They were intended as personal gifts to the main participants of the German Premiere, as well as matching outfits for the event’s hostesses. Due to this, even Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire is in possession of an exclusive Bling My Thing product. The elaborately developed shirts, finished with over 5000 Swarovski crystals at approx. 100 € and designed in the well-known Spiderman-look, were a very successful and entertaining promotion gag.

For Austrian FREECARD group we developed a special edition of business cards, depicting the company’s logo. These impressive cards were used as giveaways to the firm’s closest clients. This special courtesy easily underlined FREECARD’s intention and philosophy of epitomising more than just a one-time-usage but an aesthetically pleasing decoration. OVAL

OVAL VODKA OVAL VODKA OVAL VODKA OVAL VODKA

In October 2007, high-end vodka-brand OVAL entrusted us with the embellishment of four bottles of "OVAL 42". These were solely designed for the Austrian market and decorated with over 7000 crystals. Every single flask was valued at 2900 €. Because of OVALS’s concept of purity and structure, their bottles resemble the architecture of molecules. In this special edition not only the structure, but also the crystal-clear pureness of the content is embodied by its form. Stones in Crystal and Blue created a stunning outcome.

 

In the making

Currently we are working on a series of limited Nokia 7373 mobile phones for O2. The "Pure Glamour" is embellished by small Crystal Cosmojet crystals. This gives it an appearance of elegance and clarity. The floral ornament on the back serves as an optical highlight. The production of a single piece requires up to 1200 Swarovski Crystals creating items of a sui generis design that appeals to a popular sense of luxury and style. It only costs 199,99Euro with an O2 contract.

Krups Essenza

For Nespresso we are producing 1000 embellished coffee makers in two different designs. "Krups Essenza" was endowed with our Matrix design in Cosmojet and Crystal. "DeLonghi Essenza" we beautified with our Simple style, using crystals in Fuchsia. "Krups Essenza" is covered in 6000 crystals, the smaller "DeLonghi Essenza" features 5500. Both coffee machines are gorgeous artworks that accessorise any classy kitchen. Design-addicts will absolutely adore them!
